The Chateau Les Carrasses is a 19th century wine domain in the Languedoc region of the South of France. The area boasts a range of things to do and see from tasting superb cuisine and fine wines to hiking in the country, enjoying a day at the beach or visiting historic Roman, medieval or Renaissance towns.
PLANE
Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport is the closest airport, located 1 hour's drive north east of the chateau, it receives flights from London, Munich and Amsterdam, as well as multiple French cities, as well as seasonal flights from Nordic countries and other cities in the UK and the Netherlands.
Also, just a little over an hour to the south is Perpignan-Rivesaltes Airport, which is similarly served by international and seasonal flights. Or the better served Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is a little under 2 hours' drive to the west of the chateau, it receives flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe.
TRAIN
The TGV, France’s high-speed rail network is a wonderful way to travel and the closest station to the chateau is Béziers, just 15 minutes from the Château. It is therefore easy to reach from other major French cities and also possible to book high-speed trains from other cities across Europe with companies such as Thalys (or Eurostar from London).
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
