Neya Lisboa Hotel ★★★★

Relaxing four star retreat in central Lisbon.

By Edward Fairburn, VeryChic correspondent
Central Lisbon is all rather hectic, with trams rattling around cobbled alleyways, a higgledy-piggledy sprawl of terracotta roofs tumbling up and down seven hilltops, and ancient monuments jostling for space with dazzling works of modern architecture. At least the Neya Lisboa Hotel **** provides a small haven of calm, where everything seems to make a little more sense. Just outside the city centre, it provides environmentally-friendly luxury, some delicious cuisine and outstanding facilities, all enveloped in a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere.
