Hilton Molino Stucky ★★★★★

A scandalously decadent sojourn at the Hilton.

By Melanie Webb, VeryChic correspondent
One sleek and glossy white heel steps into a wavering water taxi before a swishing floor length gown follows. Soon water is being thrown up into splashes of white, whilst elegant Italian architecture zooms past; rounded silvery blue domes, colourful miniature palaces, men on boats expertly navigating the water ways, detailed windows and rooftops, and a glimmer of night-time lights that begin to reflect in the cobalt blue waters as the sun set below the horizon. Fashionably late, she arrives at her destination, greeted by other guests adorned with elaborate gowns and exquisite masks which replace mysterious visages. A gentleman takes her silk-gloved hand and they begin to dance to the rise and fall of harmonious classical music whilst regal colours spin around them and heavenly aromas of divine cuisine lingers in the air. Welcome to the decadent, the indulgent and the audacious Venice.
