As you wander through Toulouse’s historic centre, you will find large carved, double, wooden doors, which lead into Le Grand Balcon. Its façade perfectly blends in with the classic buildings around it but inside withholds a handsome interior you might have never of guessed lay within. Boutique, minimalist design reigns here with antique touches. Expect to be quickly whisked across the chequered, tiled floor of the lobby and down the decorated corridors that evoke an irresistible chic allure. The pictures along the corridor and the theme of the hotel carries a nostalgia for the 30s, and elements of art deco are to be found around every corner.

Whether you choose the Classic or Privilege room, you will find a small balcony from which to observe the goings on of the Place du Capitole below. Bedrooms are dressed in neutral colours and brought to life by emphatic photos from the 30s. In the centre is a large double bed quilted with soft fabrics and decorated with furry cushions.
