The rolling hills of Provence provide a party for all the senses; the sweet smell of lavender, the warm French breeze and the soft lines of the landscape have inspired many of the world’s famous artists. The picture-perfect Provence is home to the small village of Gordes in the northern part of the Luberon. There, tucked away on a hilltop above sweeping green forests and purple lavender fields, Les Bories & Spa is a beautiful, rustic, dry-stone hotel, worthy of inclusion in any celebrated painting.

BY PLANE

  • Marseille-Provence Airport (MRS) is located about 27 km / 17 mi northwest of Marseille, and around 75 km / 48 mi (1 hour and 25 minutes') drive from the hotel. It is fairly well-served with both seasonal and regular year-round flights from a number of major cities across Europe, including the UK, along with elsewhere in France.

BY TRAIN

  • Gare de Marseille Saint-Charles, located in the city centre, is the main railway station for Marseille. The station is served by France's high-speed train services and it is therefore possible to reach Marseille by train rapidly from a number of neighbouring countries as well as elsewhere in France.
