Pashmina le refuge ★★★★★ made in Val Thorens

Five-star luxury up amongst the clouds…

Exceptional
9 /10
By Kathryn Atkins, VeryChic correspondent
“Despite all I have seen and experienced, I still get the same simple thrill out of glimpsing a tiny patch of snow in a high mountain gully and feel the same urge to climb towards it.”

When Edmund Hillary wrote these words, he had already been to the top of the world, yet was still looking forwards to new experiences. This is the world of adventurers and explorers, of people who tread the thin path between genius and insanity. This is the world the Hotel Pashmina inhabits, perched on its mountainous Val Thorens plateau among the stars and snow. Five-star luxury, of course, yet with the feel of an authentic mountain refuge, in a place where you sleep among the stars and wake to a stunning vista of some of the highest peaks in Europe.
