Cavallo Island
France
Cavallo is a small French island located between Corsica and Sardinia, and L’Hôtel & Spa des Pêcheurs ****L is the only hotel to be found on paradisiac piece of land between France and Italy. The only way to access the island is by boat or helicopter.
BY PLANE
The nearest airport to the hotel is Figari-Sud Corse Airport (FSC) located 3km northwest of Figari in southern Corsica. Most of the flights are seasonal, however, the airport does receive year round flights from several cities in France, therefore it is possible to fly indirect year-round.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
Helicopter transfers are available on request, please contact the hotel for more information.
It is possible to arrange in advance with the hotel for a transfer service from Piantarella to Cavallo (by boat and car) at a rate of 230€ per trip (one way). A private car can be organised to get from Corsica-Figari Airport to Piantarella.
Public boat services exist between Piantarella to Cavallo at a rate of 15€ each way
CARS ON THE ISLAND
Cars and other motorised vehicles are prohibited on the island (electric car and bicycle rental available). If arriving with your own car in Corsica, parking is available near the little bridge of Piantarella, and in Bonifacio.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
