GET FROM THE AIRPORTS TO THE HOTEL

  • From London Heathrow:
    - By Train: the cheapest and probably most convenient method is taking the underground (metro) Piccadilly Line (dark blue) to Gloucester Road station.

    From London Gatwick:
    - By Train: the Gatwick Express to London Victoria runs regularly, taking 30 minutes. Tickets are around £20 single (£10 for children) or £35 return (£18 for children); it is a little cheaper if booked in advance. For around £15, Southern Trains operate four times an hour to London Victoria, taking around 35-40 minutes. From there, take the underground’s Circle (yellow) or District (green) line to Gloucester Road.

    - By Bus: the The National Express operates direct coach services also to London Victoria once an hour with a journey time of around 90 minutes. Tickets are around £8 single, £15 return. From there, see above for directions to the hotel.
    A low-cost, frequent and non-stop transfer service is also operated by EasyBus from North and South terminals to Earls Court/West Brompton. The journey takes about an hour. From there, the most convenient way is to finish your journey with a short 5-minute taxi ride.

    From London City:
    - By Train: there is a DLR train station in front of the airport; take the DLR (turquoise line) to Canning Town. Here, take the Jubilee Line (grey) to Westminster and switch to the Circle (yellow) or District (green) line to Gloucester Road.

    - By Taxi: London City airport is close to central London, therefore a cab will cost around £40.

    From London Luton:
    - By Train: a shuttle bus goes to Luton Airport Parkway Station where trains run to London St Pancras/ Kings Cross in 25 minutes. Tickets are around £18 single and £30 return. From there take the Piccadilly Line to Gloucester Road station.

    - By Bus: the National Express to London Victoria (about 35 minutes) is around £10 single and £15 return. From there, take the underground’s Circle (yellow) or District (green) line to Gloucester Road.

    From London Stansted:
    - By Train: the Stansted Express runs to Tottenham Hale Underground in about 50 minutes, for around £23 single and £33 return. From there, take the Victoria line (light blue) to Green Park and switch to the Piccadilly line (dark blue) to Gloucester Road station.
