The Weinmeister **** is located in Berlin’s Mitte district, one of the city’s most dynamic areas.
Berlin is currently served by two main airports Berlin Tegel Airport, located around 8 km / 5.0 mi northwest of the city centre, and Berlin Schönefeld Airport located around 18 km / 11 mi southeast of the city centre. Between them, they receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe.
Berlin Tegal is notably a hub for Air Berlin and Germanwings, while Berlin Schönefeld is notably a hub for EasyJet, Ryanair and Condor.
From Berlin-Tegel (11km/7 mi away):
- By public transport: the total journey takes around 40 minutes. First take the bus line 128 towards U Osloer Str, and get off at U Franz-Neumann-Platz. Switch to the metro system and take line U9 towards S+U Hermannstr. Get off at U Weinmeisterstrasse and walk a minute up the street, the hotel will be on your left.
- By taxi: the 15-minute taxi ride to the hotel should cost between £16 and £19.
From Berlin-Schönefeld (23km/14 mi away):
- By public transport: the total journey takes around 30 minutes and cost between £9 and £12. From the airport, take the regional line to Berlin Ostbahnof. There, switch to line S 82503, S 82504 or S 84006 to Berlin Hackescher markt. As you leave the station turn right onto Am Zwirngraben, then left onto An der Spandauer Brücke, and right onto Rosenthaler Strasse. The hotel will be on your right.
- By taxi: the 20-minute taxi ride should cost between £28 and £35.
