By Jo Weston, VeryChic correspondent
Has anyone ever been to Cannes without imagining themselves on the red carpet, cameras flashing, crowds craning their necks and the ultimate arm candy by their side? Like Hollywood itself, some of the world’s most enduring ideas are built on dreams and illusions. But unlike Hollywood, the Five Seas Hotel is the real thing: Simply the best.

  • Fromagerie Ceneri. With cowbells strung from the ceiling, and a stunning array of cheeses, this is the place to shop for dairy products in Cannes. Its Provence Chèvre is outstanding. 22 Rue Meynadier, Cannes. +33 493 396 368. www.fromagerie-ceneri.com.
