Close to Paddington Station and Warwick Avenue Underground, The Colonnade Hotel **** is set in a scenic and quiet area of London known as Little Venice, with quick and easy access to the city centre.
London is served by several airports: London Heathrow (west), London Gatwick (south), London Stansted (north-east), London Luton (north-west) and London City (south-east). Between them, they receive flights from most major cities across Europe.
From within the UK trains can be found and booked via National Rail. From mainland Europe trains can be found and booked via Rail Europe. Together, the companies Eurostar and Thalys operate high speed train services from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France to London St Pancras International.
From London Heathrow:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take just over half an hour and will cost around £70.
By train: You can take the Heathrow Express train to London Paddington and once there, switch to the underground and get the Bakerloo line to Warwick Avenue. It is then a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
From London Gatwick:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around an hour and 20 minutes and will cost around £160.
By train: The Gatwick Express to London Victoria runs regularly with a journey time of 30 minutes. Tickets are around £20 single (£10 for children) or £35 return (£18 for children); it is a little cheaper if booked in advance. For around £15 single, Southern Trains also run to London Victoria, taking closer to 40 minutes. From there take the Underground Victoria line to Oxford Circus then change to the Bakerloo line to Warwick Avenue. It is then a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
From London City:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will just under an hour and will cost around £60.
By train: There is a DLR train station in front of the airport; it is three stops to Canning Town where you can change for underground services. It is also possible to take bus number 474 to Canning Town. From there, take the Jubilee line to Baker Street and then change for the Bakerloo line to Warwick Avenue. It is then a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
From London Luton:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around 50 minutes and will cost around £110.
By train: A shuttle bus operates to Luton Airport Parkway Station. East Midlands Trains run to London St Pancras/ Kings Cross in about 25 minutes. Tickets are around £18 single and £30 return. From there, take the Circle line to Baker Street then change to the Bakerloo line to Warwick Avenue. It is then a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
From London Stansted:
By taxi: A taxi from the airport to the hotel will take around an hour and a quarter and will cost around £140.
By train: The Stansted Express runs to Tottenham Hale in about 30 minutes, for around £23 single and £33 return. From there take the Victoria line to Oxford Circus then the Bakerloo line to Warwick Avenue. It is then a 3 minute walk to the hotel.
