Rising above the beach of Agios Fokas, the Michelangelo Resort & Spa is 7 kilometres from Kos town on the east coast of this stunning Greek island.
BY PLANE
Kos International Airport (KGS) is found near the village of Andimachia towards the centre of the island, around 31.8 km / 20 mi (40 minutes') drive from the hotel. The airport also receives a number seasonal flights from cities across Europe, including the UK, and year-round flights from Athens.
From the airport to the hotel:
• Bus: transit bus services operate between the airport and Kos town, taking about 30 minutes. From there, it is a very short 10 taxi ride to the hotel.
• Taxi: a 24/7 metered taxi service is available outside the Terminal building, as the island is fairly small, it's possible to take a taxi to any destination within around 30 minutes.
• Car: car rental services are available at the airport, be sure to book your car in advance!
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
