  • The views from the rooms. Is there anything better than waking up to the sight of the sun rising over the ocean? Well, except perhaps the colourful garden view.
  • The family facilities. Ideal for those bringing children, there’s an all-day kids club, as well as both an indoor and outdoor playground to keep them busy.
  • The hotel décor. Every inch of it is inspired by Zanzibar, from the lofty heights of the makuti roof to the antique furnishings.
  • The beautiful 9-hole golf course - Matkovich World Class - by Peter Matkovitch.
Sea Cliff Resort & Spa ★★★★★

History, beauty, and tranquillity in Zanzibar.

By Rebecca Moore, VeryChic correspondant
At the point where Africa, the Middle East, and Asia intersect, you’ll find Tanzania – a place of bleach white sand, historic and exotic architecture, traditional villages, sleepy spice-laden markets, and fruit-heavy farms… a land rich in stories and steeped in adventure. Most importantly, though, here you’ll find the Sea Cliff Resort and Spa, itself a point where the rich and varied culture of Zanzibar meets the very best of modern luxury and excellence, a hotel simultaneously sumptuous and serene.
