Diani Beach Road, Galu-Kinondo
Box 696
Ukunda, Mombasa
Kenya
Set on Diani Beach overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Neptune Village Beach Resort **** is located on Kenya's southeast coast, just over an hour from Mombasa.
Moi International Airport is the closest well-served airport, located 1 hour 45 minutes from the hotel. Many flights from Europe involve changing in Dar es Salaam, Addis Ababa, Nairobi.
Otherwise, one can fly into Nairobi Airport, also known as Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, which is much better served internationally, by most European capitals. From there, an internal flight to Ukunda Airstrip takes just 1 hour, from which it is just 8km to the hotel.
Basic Requirements
While Kenya does have a visa waiver system that allows nationals from certain countries to visit the country for up to three months, this is exclusive to African, Caribbean and a few European and Asian states. The majority of EU nations, as well as the USA, will be required to make a Kenyan visa application.
UK passport holders are eligible to purchase a visa on arrival, however it is advised to buy a visa in advance to avoid complications.
The Kenyan Tourist Visa
The Kenyan Tourist Visa is issued to applicants entering the country for the purpose of tourism, to visit the country for up to 3 months in total (multiple entry visas are also an option, to British Passport holders only).
Applying for a Kenyan tourist visa requires a valid passport, as well as a completed visa application form, a recent passport-sized photo and a travel itinerary.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Local call charges may apply.
