The Maison Tirel-Guérin **** is just a few kilometres from Saint-Malo, in the northwestern French region of Brittany.
BY PLANE
The little served Dinard–Pleurtuit–Saint-Malo Airport is located around 6 km (4 mi) south-southwest of Dinard and Saint Malo, and around 18km (12 mi) west of the hotel. It receives flights from London, Leeds and the East Midlands operated by Ryanair.
Rennes–Saint-Jacques Airport is the next closest airport, located around 6 km (3.7 mi) southwest of Rennes (the capital of Britanny), and 74 km (46 mi) south of the hotel. This airport receives direct flights from London and Dublin and other major cities in the UK and Ireland, along with regular flights from Paris and other major cities in France. It also receives direct flights from Amsterdam, Rome, Madrid and Barcelona.
BY TRAIN
It is possible to reach the hotel by train. The TGV station in Rennes connects the area with the high-speed train network across Europe. From Rennes, it is possible to take a train to Saint-Malo (taking around 50 minutes) followed by a train to Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes (taking around 20 minutes). From there it is a 2 minute walk to the hotel.
BY FERRY
Saint-Malo port receives ferries from Plymouth and Portsmouth in the UK as well Saint Helier in Jersey and Saint Peter in Guernsey. From there it is either a 20 minute drive or 20 minute train ride to the hotel.
