The Petit Hôtel Confidentiel ***** is situated in Savoy, in the town of Chambéry, less than 30 minutes from Aix-les-Bains and 1 hour 15 minutes from Lyon.

BY PLANE

  • Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (87 km) is the closest international airport, located 1 hour drive west of the hotel, it receives fights from many capitals and major cities.

    Within season, Chambéry is served by Chambéry-Savoie Airport, with new routes (as of 17th December 2016) operating from London, Edinburgh, Manchester and other major cities within the UK and several cities in the Netherlands and Scandinavia.

BY TRAIN

  • Chambéry can be reached by train, around 3 hours 30 minutes from Paris, with a change at Lyon-St Exupery. The service is operated by TGV/ Thalys and as such one can go from London to Chambéry in under 7 hours. Tickets can be booked on Rail Europe, SNCF, Thalys or Eurostar.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • By taxi: A taxi will take 1 hour and will cost 110€ to 130€.

    By train    : The TGV will take 1 hour from Lyon-St Exupery to Chambéry and will cost 20€ to 24€.

    By car    : Rental companies are readily available at the terminal, it is often cheaper to book online and in advance, also having a car allows you to explore the surrounding area. Exit the airport onto the A432, following signs for A43/ E70 towards Turin-Milan/ Chambéry. Follow the E70 for 85 km, taking the exit towards Chambéry-Centre. Once in Chambéry-Centre, continue along the Avenue de la Boisse towards Place du Palais de Justice and onto Rue Jean-Pierre Veyrat. Turn left onto Rue de la Trésorerie and the hotel will be on your left.
