The irresistible lure of Paris remains everlasting, and why shouldn’t its allure still endure? Lock eyes with the Eiffel Tower in this beautiful city, let the theatrical tunes of cabaret set your feet to dancing, or find your home in a cosy restaurant in Saint-Germain de Près. Art and décor is Paris’s pride and joy, and when you look around, it’s displayed in the architecture of every building and in the decadent and historic interiors. Hôtel Monsieur **** is no stranger to this design, taking its inspiration from the Mathurins Theatre. So, take your seats and watch the scene unfold, your Parisian show is about to begin…
Chic idea: to make the most of your time in Paris, book your tickets in advance for a wide range of activities, here.
Act One: Glass doors provide the entrance to the lobby. The reception at Hôtel Monsieur **** is dressed in sleek black and grey, with hints of red in the furniture. Stage right stands a spiral staircase, with intricately patterned stairs in red and grey, while the reception desk takes centre stage, complete with friendly faced staff.
Enter GUESTS. Suitcases trail along behind, but expressions are hopeful.
Friendly staff greet guests who appear slightly tired, a welcome brightens their weary faces as they glance tentatively around the room. The foyer exudes a feeling of welcome, but also sophistication; the type that only the French master. An expression of approval appears on the faces of the guests before they are led to their room.
Act Two: A bedroom. The deluxe room spans out over the stage. Three walls are beige, whilst one stands out, on it is a mural that evokes a nostalgic, romantic scene from the Parisian past. Around the corner is the ensuite, equally well designed, with a perfect match of modern design and antique fittings.
Enter GUESTS
Guest One rests on the large double bed set centre stage, whilst the second goes over to draw back the curtains. The view looks over a typical Parisian cobbled street. Meanwhile Guest One, on discovering the luxury Casanera bath products, decides to indulge in a luxurious bubblebath.
Act Three: Morning arrives. Stage is tiled in smooth white; both guests are enjoying personal treatments in the spa at Hôtel Monsieur ****.
The treatments are followed by breakfast in the lavish dining room, continuing the dramatic theme of red and black. They leave the dining room holding hands, one leading the other, and step out past the glass doors into Paris leaving the audience in suspense…
