If like me you always find yourself pining for glorious summer weather (a scarce luxury in the UK), I can assure you'll fall in love with Djerba. It was my brother of all people that suggested we go on one big family holiday, grandparents and little ones included, to catch a final glimpse of that Mediterranean sun. I of course already had somewhere in mind - the Djerba Plaza Thalasso & Spa ****. With an all-inclusive deal offered by VeryChic, we had more time to focus on the important things: catching some rays, fabulous cocktails, and that all-precious family time.

Djerba Plaza Thalasso & Spa **** is set amidst the palms on the island of Djerba, the delightful Spa and the world class golf courses make this an ideal location to simply relax in the last of the summer sun.

  • The closest airport is Djerba–Zarzis International Airport (DJE), the international airport serving the island of Djerba, located to the north-west of the island, around 33 km / 20 mi drive (35 minutes) to the west of the hotel.

    It receives regular and seasonal flights from a number of capitals as well other major cities across Europe, operated in particular by Nouvelair and Tunisair. Outside of season, you may also fly indirect via Tunis.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By taxi: taxis are an affordable way to travel in Tunisia - so long as you take a licensed taxi from the airport's official taxi rank! The journey lasts around half an hour and costs between 4€-6€.

  • Note: for all departures in 50 days or more, the remaining balance will be automatically deducted 45 days prior to departure.
  • Note: please note the full names and surnames of each guest in the "Comments" section at the time of booking. They must be identical to those on your pieces of ID used throughout the stay.
