BY PLANE
Chambéry Airport is the closest airport, about 50 km / 30 mi / 40 minutes' drive south of the hotel. It is served by seasonal flights only, from a handful of major cities across Europe, including the UK.
Alternatively, Geneva Airport (GVA) is located 45 minutes' drive north of the hotel and is well-served internationally, or Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport (LYS) is located around 126 km / 78 mi / 1 hour & 20 mintues' drive west of the hotel, and is also fairly well-served internationally.
From the airports to the Annecy:
• Car: the fastest and most convenient way to reach the hotel from any of the 3 airports is by renting a car, this also provides more freedom to explore the surrounding area during your stay.
• Bus/train: from Chambéry Airport, it is possible to take the 01 bus to Aix-les-Bains train station followed by a train to Annecy train station (taking around 2 hours in total). From Lyon airport, BlaBlaBus operate a direct service to Annecy (taking around 1 hour & 50 minutes). From Geneva Airport it is a little more hastle, take a train to Geneva station, followed by a train to Annemasse, then another train to Annecy station (taking around 2 hours and 30 minutes).
