The Artisan Istanbul Mgallery **** is located in the heart of Istanbul, not far from the main sights of the city, including Taksim square, Istiklal Avenue, the Bosphorus River, Istanbul Congress Center and many other attractions, restaurants and shops.
Passports should be valid for no less than 150 days from the date of arrival in Turkey.
Citizens of the UK of many countries in the EU do not require a visa for visits of up to 90 days.
Istanbul is served by two international airports:
• Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) is Istanbul's main international airport, located on the European side, about 24km / 15mi west of the city centre. It receives regular direct flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe, including from the UK.
• Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is located on the Asian side, about 35km / 22mi southeast of the city centre. It also receives direct flights from a number of cities across Europe, including from the UK.
• Taxi: official taxis line up outside the airports and should take about 30 minutes to reach the city centre from Atatürk Airport, or likely over an hour from Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
• Shuttle: a Havataş airport shuttle operates from both airports to Taksim Square, taking about 40 minutes from Atatürk Airport, or 1 hour and 30 minutes from Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
Istanbul is well connected by train, with trains to Istanbul departing from all major cities across Europe and Asia. Trains from Europe arrive at Sirkeci (note that InterRail tickets are valid in istanbul but only on the European side and not in the Asian region).
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
