The Relais Villa Porta **** is located in the Italian town of Luino, near the border with Switzerland in Lombardy, and offers breathtaking views over Lake Maggiore.
BY PLANE
• Lugano Airport (LUG), the closest international airport, is located around 20 km / 12 mi / 30 minutes' drive east of the hotel. It is little served however.
• Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP), is located around 75 km / 47 mi drive south of the hotel. It is well served internationally, with many airlines operating flights from most capitals and large cities across Europe, including the UK.
• Linate Airport (LIN), Milan's secondary airport, is around 110 km / 78 mi drive south of the hotel. It is not as well-served as Malpensa, however, does receive flights from across Europe, including the UK.
• Orio al Serio International Airport (BGY), or unofficially "Milan-Bergamo Airport", is about 135 km / 84 mi drive southeast of of the hotel. It receives a receive a number of flights from across Europe, notably with low-cost airlines such as Ryanair.
From any of the airports, we recommend renting a car as the most convenient way to reach the hotel. It will also allow for better exploring the stunning region during your stay.
