The Harretchea Hotel is found in the heart of the French Basque village of Ahetze. It is just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean and the legendary beaches of Guéthary, Bidart and Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and also just 20 minutes' drive from the Spanish border.

BY PLANE

  • Biarritz Pays Basque Airport (BIQ), or simply Biarritz Airport, just southeast of Biarritz, is about 10 km / 6 mi / 15 minutes' drive north of the hotel.

    It is a small airport, but does receive a number of national and international flights from a handful of major cities across Europe, including the UK. An alternative might be to fly indirect via Paris.
