Vienna is served by Vienna International Airport (VIE), located in Schwechat, around 18 km / 11 mi south-east of central Vienna.
The airport receives a large number of flights from across Europe, and in particular acts as a hub for Austrian Airlines, and base for Eurowings and Niki.
FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
Take the RJ train to to Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof). From there, walk over to the Hauptbahnhof U-Bahn station and take the U1 line to Karlsplatz, a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Walk up Kärntner straße and take a right onto Kärntner Ring.
You may also take a taxi from the airport, the journey should take around 20-30 minutes but depends on traffic.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
