BY PLANE
Geneva Intenational Airport (GVA) is located 4 km / 2.5 mi northwest of Geneva city centre.
The airport is well-served internationally and receives flights from most captials across Europe and other large European cities.
HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
- By train: the train from Geneva Airport to Lausanne runs every 30 minutes, and drops you off just a 6 minute walk from the hotel in the city centre. A ticket costs between 23€-45€.
- By taxi: although taxis are readily available at Geneva airport and a safe option, at around 200€ per trip it is not an option we would strongly recommend for your wallet!
- By car: this option takes around 40 minutes and is reasonably costed, also allowing you to explore Switzerland's nearby beauty. As you leave the airport follow signs for the A1/E25 towards Lausanne, and stay on the A1 for 53km. At the 17-Ecublens interchange stay left to continue heading towards Lausanne and stay on the E23 for another 3km. At the roundabout take the second exit for Avenue des Figuiers and then the third exit for Avenue Mont-d'Or. Take a left onto Chemin de Reposoir, then a left onto Marc-Dufour and a third left onto Av. Louis Ruchonnet. Turn right onto Jules Gonin and you will see the hotel ahead on your right.
