New York is currently served by two main international airports: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), located around 12 mi (20 km) southeast of Lower Manhattan, and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), located around 15 mi (24 km) southwest of Midtown Manhattan, in New Jersey.
Between them they receive international flights from a large number of airlines and destinations, including from most capitals and many large cities across Europe.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
From JFK:
- By taxi: The hotel is around 20 minutes from the airport, and will cost around $50 depending on traffic. Taxis are available at the airport arrivals terminal around the clock, but make sure you take one from the licensed taxi rank!
- By public transport: The Montauk bus system leaves the airport every 2 hours to take guests to Grand Central Station on 42nd street. From here you can take the 6, 4, or 6X to Canal St. Station, which is a 6 minute walk from the hotel. All in all this journey costs between $20-$23 and lasts just under 40 minutes.
From Newark Airport:
- By taxi: a taxi costs around $45 from this airport, with the journey lasting just under 20 minutes.
