The Drawing Hotel **** is located in the heart of the 1st arrondissement, in central Paris a stone's throw from the Comédie Française, the Palais Royal, the Louvre and Decorative Arts Museum.
Paris is served by three main airports: Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), located 25 km (16 mi) to the northeast of Paris, Paris Orly (ORY), located 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris, and Paris Beauvais (BVA), around 85 km (53 mi) north of Paris (near the city of Beauvais).
Paris Charles de Gaulle and Paris Orly receive flights from most capitals and major cities across Europe. Meanwhile, low-cost airlines (notably Ryanair), operate flights to Paris Beauvais from many cities across Europe.
From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport:
- By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, be sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 50 to 65 euros.
- By train: The airport connects to the city centre via Line B of the RER; take the train to Châtelet Les Halles and switch to the metro. Either take the M1 (yellow) for one stop to Palais Royal Musée du Louvre, or the M14 (dark purple) for 1 stop to Pyramides. Both are less than 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.
From Paris Orly Airport:
- By taxi: Taxis are easily found outside each terminal, make sure to take an officially licensed taxi from the rank. Fares vary depending on traffic, but expect to pay between 30 to 40 euros.
- By train: Either take the Orlyval to Anthony RER station, or the Orlybus to Denfert-Rochereau Métro/RER station. From either of those, you may take the RER Line B to Châtelet Les Halles and switch to metro line M1 (yellow) for one stop to Palais Royal Musée du Louvre, or line M14 (dark purple) for 1 stop to Pyramides. Both are less than 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.
From Paris-Beauvais Airport:
- By train: Take a taxi (around 11€) or shuttle bus (around 4€ per person) to Beauvais station, from which the TER line 19 runs to Paris Gare du Nord. From there, take the RER Line B to Châtelet Les Halles and switch to metro line M1 (yellow) for one stop to Palais Royal Musée du Louvre, or line M14 (dark purple) for 1 stop to Pyramides. Both are less than 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.
- By bus: There’s a shuttle bus operating between the airport and Porte Maillot in the city. From there, take the metro, line M1 (yellow), for 7 stops to Palais Royal Musée du Louvre, less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Most international trains arrive at either Paris Gare du Nord or Paris de l’Est. It is possible to take high-speed trains from cities in several neighbouring countries such as the UK, Germany and the Netherlands (as well as other cities in France), with companies such as TGV, Eurostar and Thalys.
Take the RER Line B from Gare du Nord to Châtelet Les Halles and switch to metro line M1 (yellow) for one stop to Palais Royal Musée du Louvre, or line M14 (dark purple) for 1 stop to Pyramides, both are less than 5 minutes' walk from the hotel.
Palais Royal Musée du Louvre Metro station is located just 5 minutes walk to the south of the hotel. Walk up Avenue de l'Opéra and take a right onto Rue de Richelieu.
Pyramides Metro station is located just 5 minutes walk to the northwest of the hotel. Walk down Avenue de l'Opéra and take a left at Place André Malraux, followed by a left onto Rue de Richelieu.
