Pullman Paris Centre Bercy ★★★★

For our anniversary, my other half and I thought of no better destination for a romantic getaway than Paris, and we were certainly not disappointed! Sojourning at Pullman Paris Centre – Bercy we enjoyed an unforgettable stay! The style started from the moment we arrived, with the hotel’s expansive glass façade encapsulating the chic modernity the establishment exudes. The understatedly elegant rooms are enrobed in soft colour palettes, making for a relaxing ambience, far from the vibrant bustle of the Parisian streets. The expansive windows mean the contemporary furnishings are swathed in natural light, whilst the soft grey walls adorn chic frames, evoking true Parisian style.

Our day would commence, not with the usual earth-shattering alarm, but waking up in a sumptuously comfortable bed with the exciting prospect of a day is the City of Love. I would actually acknowledge my slumberous boyfriend rather than dragging my reluctant heels straight to the office. Next stop was breakfast, and one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever tasted; a copious range of fresh produce, it is the perfect fuel for a day exploring the French capital. We proceeded to wander over to the Fairground Museum right next door to the hotel, an interesting museum full of fairground attractions, it is both eerie yet magical at the same time; we then stopped at the La Cinémathèque française, just stone’s away, where the museum and cinema was heaven on earth for my film buff boyfriend!

After all this excitement, stomachs were rumbling so it was back to the hotel for dinner and of course the style continued! Ariette restaurant & bar, invites guests to watch the skilled chefs cook up a storm in the open kitchen.
