The Bilderberg Landgoed Lauswolt ***** is around 2 hours away from Amsterdam in the village Beetsterzwaag, in the Friseland region.

BY PLANE

  • Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) is the main international airport of the Netherlands, located around 10 kilometres (6 mi) southwest of Amsterdam city centre, and is one of the busiest in Europe. It is a hub for KLM, the main airline connecting Amsterdam to other European cities, as well airlines such as Transavia, EasyJet and Vueling.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL

  • - By train: Schiphol Airport has a train leaving every hour for Heerenveen Bus Station (which costs around 30€, depending on when you book the ticket). From here you can take a bus to Beetsterzwaag (Line 20), which also leaves once per hour. The bus station is then a 3 minute walk from the hotel. This takes a total of 3 hours.

    - By car: As you leave the airport follow signs for the A4 towards Utrecht/Haarlem/Amsterdam, and stay on the A4 for around 8km before merging onto the A10. Stay on the A10 until you see the exit for A1/E231 and continue for around 10km. Once on the A1, take any exit to merge onto the A6 and stay on this road for around 98km.  Stay right at the fork and follow A7/Heerenveen/E22, then continue on the A7 for another 20km. Take Exit 28 for Beetsterzwaag. Turn right to follow signs for Beetsterzwaag and continue straight on Hoofdstraat and Van Harinxmaeg, then a left onto Van Harinxmaweg. Your destination will be on the left.
