BY PLANE
Nice-Côte d'Azur International Airport (NCE) is located 7 km / 4 mi southwest of Nice city centre, and around 8.5 km / 5.3 mi (13 minutes') drive from the hotel. It is a well-served airport, receiving flights from most capitals and many other major cities across Europe, including the UK, along with elsewhere in France. It also serves as a base for EasyJet.
From the airport to the hotel:
• Taxi: taxis should be readily available and take about 15 minutes to reach the city centre (they work with fixed rates, though may charge extra for holidays or at night).
• Tram: Tram 2 departs from Terminal 2 every 20 minutes or so in early morning/late evening, and about every 5 minutes during the day, taking around 30 minutes to reach Jean Médecin in the city centre.
BY TRAIN
Gare de Nice-Ville is the main railway station of Nice, and is served by France's high-speed train services. It is therefore possible to reach Nice fairly rapidly by train from a number of neighbouring countries, as well as elsewhere in France.
