Steam Hotel

A Swedish steam power plant’s luxurious makeover.

Exceptional

By Maria Nelligan, VeryChic correspondent
Being described as ‘one-of-a-kind’ is almost an understatement when it comes to the Steam Hotel. With 18 floors of tasteful décor, luxurious quality and authentic style, it is hard to believe that this building was formerly home to a steam power plant. Of course, with a name like ‘Steam Hotel’ it’s not an aspect of its history that is easily forgotten… that, coupled with several features that embody its iconic past, making it intriguingly unique. From supplying Sweden with most of its energy to now supplying exceptional accommodation for its visitors, guests can expect to experience the energetic yet tranquil ambience which makes the Steam Hotel so beguiling and desirable to visit.
