BY PLANE

  • Rome Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO), the city's main airport, is located 35 km southwest of the centre, about 31 km / 19.3 mi / 45 minutes' drive from the hotel. The airport is well connected internationally, and receives a large number of flights from across Europe.

    Some low-cost airlines, notably Ryanair, also fly into Rome's second airport, Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA), located around 12 km south-southeast of the city centre, again about 45 minutes' drive from the hotel.

    From the airport to the hotel:
    • Train: trains depart every 15 minutes from Fiumicino Airport to the city centre, regional trains take around 55 minutes, while the Leonardo Express Airport takes just 30 minutes. The train from Ciampino Airport takes around 40 minutes.
    • Bus: alternatively the Terravision buses, are a third of the price but take twice the time.
    • Taxi: it should take around 40-50 minutes to reach the hotel from either airport.
