The Hilton New York Fashion District **** is located in the heart of New York, not far from Madison Square Garden and the Empire State Building in Midtown Manhattan.

BY PLANE

  • New York is currently served by two main international airports: John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), located around 12 mi (20 km) southeast of Lower Manhattan, and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), located around 15 mi (24 km) southwest of Midtown Manhattan, in New Jersey.

    Between them they receive international flights from a large number of airlines and destinations, including from most capitals and many large cities across Europe.

HOW TO GET FROM THE AIRPORTS TO THE HOTEL

  • - By taxi: Be sure to take a real, licensed taxi (choose one from the designated taxi rank at the airport). It costs about $50 from John F. Kennedy or Newark airport to Manhattan, plus any tolls on the way, and the tip (15 %); all in all, the total cost is usually around $70.

    - By train:
    From JFK Airport, first take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station. Walk to Jamaica train station and take the Babylon train (57) towards Penn Station. Exit Penn Station and walk down 7th Ave five blocks, and take a left onto W 26th Street. The hotel will be on the right.

    From Newark Airport first take the AirTrain to Newark Airport Railroad Station. Here, get the Northeast Corridor line towards Penn Station. Exit Penn Station and walk down 7th Ave five blocks, and take a left onto W 26th Street. The hotel will be on the right.

    -  By bus:
    NYC Airporter runs bus services from John F. Kennedy Airport to Penn Station. An adult fare for a one-way journey is $16, with two regular-size bags included; a return journey will be $30. Exit Penn Station and walk down 7th Ave five blocks, and take a left onto W 26th Street. The hotel will be on the right.

    -  By private shuttle: You can also take a private shuttle (capacity: 8 people maximum), from Shuttle New York, which will drop passengers off in front of their hotel. You can book in a shared or private shuttle, however booking in advance is essential.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • For travel to the United States you must:

    - Have a passport which is valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

    - Obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). You may apply on the official ESTA website.

    Application for the ESTA costs $14 and it is advised to apply at least 72 hours prior to travel.

    The ESTA is valid for up to two years and allows for multiple entries of up to 90 days each into the United States (If you receive a new passport during the two-year entry period, you must reapply for ESTA approval).
