Glamorous 4* stay in a city brimming with history

Exceptional

By Maria Nelligan, VeryChic correspondent
Largely known for being a ferry port, the city of Cherbourg-Octeville, which sits upon the tip of the Cotenin Peninsula, offers much more than meets the eye…With its port being destroyed by the Germans following the nearby D-Day landings, it’s fair to say this former commune is steeped in history - even the infamous Titanic made its final stop here! Not only is this area historical, it also provides a tranquil getaway destination and don’t worry, VeryChic have got you covered with accommodation - behold, the delightful Hotel Mercure Cherbourg Centre Port ****.
