Created by iconic Art Deco designer Morris Lapidus, the refurbished hotel and proudly takes its places among the architectural eye candy that is Midtown Manhattan. Venture outside to travel back in time with a visit to the Beaux-Arts-style Grand Central Station and then bring your art appreciation up to the present day with an afternoon wandering around the exhibition spaces of the Museum of Modern Art – both are just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
