On the coast of Normandy, the seaside town of Deauville is closer to Brighton than it is to Paris, so travelling there from the UK is simple. But once you get there, it feels like a completely different world. Quintessential Normandy architecture and Belle Époque buildings face the sea, while a 1920s boardwalk lined with pretty little bathing cabins is reminiscent of a gentler, more relaxed era. The Hôtel Mercure Deauville Centre **** captures the sophisticated and relaxed air of the town, adding only its own brand of warmth and welcoming hospitality.

The Hotel Mercure Deauville centre **** is located just 15 minutes from the beach in the commune of Deauville, in the region of Normandy.

BY PLANE

  • Caen Airport and Deauville Airport are the closest to the hotel but very few companies operate to these cities. To Caen there are flights from London-Southend with Flybe, and Ryanair fly from London-Stansted to Deauville. At the moment, no other European cities are connected to these airports. Because of that, we rather recommend flying to one of the airport of Paris and taking a train, car or bus from there.

    From Deauville Airport it is a short 15 drive or taxi ride to the hotel, while Caen Airport is around a 50 minute drive from the hotel. The drive from Paris takes around 2 and a half hours, and car rental services are available at the airports.

    By train from Paris: the airports are very well connected by bus and train to the city centre, first make your way to Paris Saint Lazarre Station. From there you can take a direct train or indirect train with a changeover in Lisieux, in both cases it will take about 2 hours to reach Deauville-Trouville Station. The station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
