The Hampton By Hilton London Docklands is located in the Royal Docks area in the Borough of Newham to the east of central London. It is a short walk from ExCel exhibition park, 20 minutes by public transport from the O2 Arena and about 30 minutes by public transport from central London.

Note that London City Airport is the closest airport to the hotel, being located just 5 minutes drive away.
From London City:
- On foot: It is a 20 minute walk to the hotel. Follow Hartmann Road to the end and take a right onto Connaught Road. At the first roundabout take a left (still on Connaught Road) and at the second roundabout take a right onto Connaught Bridge. Continue straight until you see the hotel on the right.
- By taxi: a taxi will take 5 minutes to reach the hotel.
From London Heathrow:
- By train: Take the Piccadilly Line of the London Underground to Green Park and change for the Jubilee Line to Canning Town. From there, take a DLR train to Royal Albert.
From London Gatwick:
- By train: Take a Southern Trains or a Thameslink service to London Bridge, followed by the Jubilee Line to Canning Town. From there, take a DLR train to Royal Albert.
From London Luton:
- By train: A shuttle bus operates to Luton Airport Parkway Station, take a Thameslink train from there to Finchley Road, or take a National Express bus direct from the airport to Finchley Road. From there, take the Jubilee Line to Canning Town. From there, take a DLR train to Royal Albert.
From London Stansted:
Take the National Express bus to London Bow. From there take a DRL train to Poplar and change for a DLR train to Royal Albert.
