McCarran International Airport (LAS) is located in Paradise, about 5 miles / 8 km south of Downtown Las Vegas and just south of the Las Vegas Strip.
The airport receives some direct flights from major cities Europe, including from London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Munich, Copenhagen, Oslo, & Stockholm. Otherwise you may fly indirect via one of this cities or via other cities in the US.
Please be aware that controls to enter the United States have been strengthened. Plan to arrive early to the check-in desks.
Travel requirements
For travel to the United States you must:
- Have a passport which is valid for at least 6 months after your return date.
- Obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). You may apply on the official ESTA website.
Application for the ESTA costs $14 and it is advised to apply at least 72 hours prior to travel.
The ESTA is valid for up to two years and allows for multiple entries of up to 90 days each into the United States (If you receive a new passport during the two-year entry period, you must reapply for ESTA approval).
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
