New Road Hotel ★★★★

A former textile factory, turned cutting-edge, charming boutique hotel.

By Melanie Webb, VeryChic correspondent
When it comes to holiday destinations, London is an all-time favourite. Those that travel year in and year out know that London totally defies the saying ‘you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.’ While still preserving that old London charm, new discoveries lie around every corner, from the Shard and Sky Garden to the Olympic Park. Old and new fit together like puzzle pieces at the New Road Hotel****, proving that this multi-cultural melting-pot of a metropolis still has quite a few tricks up its sleeve.
