Gleaming above the cobalt-blue waters and rocky bays of the Mediterranean, Cadaqués is a relaxing, whitewashed village dotted with pebbled peaches, meandering lanes, picturesque harbours, and the wilds of the nearby Cap de Creus. Although bohemian charm permeates every corner of Cadaqués, the true allure comes from Salvador Dalí’s creative spirit to make this - in his words - “the most beautiful town on earth”. Despite its vivid colours also attracting the likes of Picasso and Miró, Cadaqués is the idyllic archetypal landscape of Dalí’s surreal world.
