From the outset, Poggio del Sole Resort **** is designed to impress, the stunning white manor house standing in stark contrast to the verdant green hills that surround it. Though the brick courtyard and beaned wood ceilings are historic features, much of the resort has been updated for modern guests – you’ll sleep in colourfully decorated and creative bedrooms that are bright with natural light from the large balcony windows.

Outside, the views stretch for miles over the hillside, interrupted only by the ancient carob trees and olive groves scattered across the landscape. The outdoor pool is surrounded by loungers, and kept warm throughout the day by the Sicilian sun burning overhead.
