Just like its name – petit – the hotel is small, with only nine rooms, but each has been meticulously decorated with plenty to create a welcoming mix of rustic and contemporary styles. The exterior’s whitewashed walls and exposed warm red brick extend to the double bedrooms, where natural wood floors and white linens create calming spaces where you can relax and unwind – while also enjoying all the contemporary comforts that you would expect from a boutique hotel.

Opposite the hotel’s reception, Sa Mossegada serves local dishes, snacks and tapas all day long. In the evening, the seasonal tasting menu takes centre stage, as guests enjoy local vegetables and seafood that’s been freshly caught by traditional fishing boats. Eating dinner on the garden patio affords views of the beautifully illuminated walls of Alcúdia.
