The Mercure Poitiers near Futuroscope **** is located just 15 minutes' walk from the Futuroscope multimedia theme park and the Palais des Congrès, in the commune of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, found just north of the city Poitiers in western France.
BY PLANE
Poitiers–Biard Airport (PIS) is located 2.4 km / 1.5 mi west of Poitiers, in Biard. The airport is around 12.3 km / 7.6 mi (15 minutes') drive from the hotel. The airport is little served, however does receive regular flights from Lyon and London.
Other airports within 1-3 hours' drive from the hotel include: La Rochelle, Tours, Angers, Limoges and the better served, Bordeaux and Nantes.
BY TRAIN
Gare du Futuroscope, located around a 6 minutes' drive from the hotel, is connected to France's high-speed TGV network, which connects with the Eurostar from the UK, and other high-speed train services such as Thalys from other neighbouring countries.
Gare de Poitiers is the main station in the city of Poitiers, around 16 minutes' drive from the hotel. The station receives both regular train services and high-speed TGV services (on the same line as the Futuroscope-TGV station).
TO THE HOTEL
Taking a taxi is easiest and quickest method for reaching the centre of Potiers from the airport, and takes around 11 minutes.
Otherwise, we recommend renting a car in order to reach the hotel and for exploring the area during your stay.
