Lights, camera, action… the hotel calls to you as you walk through its doors. It’s like stepping into a Hollywood film of old. Black and white prevail in this magnificent chateau, converted into a 4-star hotel. From the outside you’d imagine something more like a typical French château, yet you can practically see the chorus girls in their feathers and boas, lined up on the majestic white stone staircase that leads up to the hotel. This 19th century mansion, situated along the river’s edge, is the place for a stay in the heart of the Loire valley.

The Art Hotel **** is located 5 kilometres from Tours, in the town of Rochecorbon, on the border of the Loire River. Set amongst the prestigious castles of the Loire Valley and the famous wineries in Vouvray and Montlouis-sur-Loire.

BY PLANE

  • Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF) is found around 6 km / 4 mi drive from the hotel. The airport is little served, but does receive a handful of international flights for example from London or Dublin.

    Alternatively, Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE) is located around 2 hours' drive to the west, or Paris Orly (ORY) is located around 2 hours' drive to the north. Both airports are better served with more international routes.
