Picture yourself walking along Place de la Bastille and wandering into one of Paris’ most elegant and stylish cocktail bars. It has several different areas each with a chic design, with comfortable low bench seats, large tables and space at the elegant counter. It’s the perfect place to unwind or meet up with family, friends and colleagues for a drink. The cocktail list on offer was designed by Pile ou Face, Mini Pong and RPR le Repaire de Charonne; it has some fantastic fusions of flavours. To go with the captivating cocktails, a delectable selection of gourmet tapas dishes is on offer too. As well as this, you will also find some excellent fine French wines, draught beers, Belgian beers and tasty fruit juices.

As the night gets late, and you long for your bed, you can slyly slip away from the warm atmosphere of the bar, through the secret door behind the bookshelf, and into the Oh la la ! Hotel. You will find your room to be incredibly spacious and airy, with a minimalist and sophisticated design. The beds are large and boast ultra-comfortable mattresses as well as a cosy duvet. Along with the cocktail bar downstairs, all of the rooms were designed by two young architects Anna and Lancelot, who strived to create unique, stylish spaces whilst making the most of the views out the building’s windows. The rooms were devised with platforms, that allow guests to enjoy pleasant views of Place de la Bastille, whilst natural light comes flooding in.

It is only a stone’s throw away from Marais district, one of Paris’s most splendid shopping areas, whilst Bastille itself brags some of Paris’ finest cafes, bars and restaurants, especially the one you pass through on the way to your room!
