Chania International Airport, "Daskalogiannis" (CHQ), is an international airport, located near on the Akrotiri Peninsula in northwestern Crete, around 14 km / 8.7 mi east of Chania and 42 km / 26 mi (around 39 minutes' drive) from the hotel.
Though less well-served, this airport does receive a large number seasonal flights from cities across Europe, along with year-round flights from Athens, by both Aegean Airlines and Ryanair.
