The Lodge Roche Tamarin **** hotel is located on the Reunion island, a French department in the Indian Ocean, known for its volcanic, rainforested interior, coral reefs and beaches. Its most iconic landmark is Piton de la Fournaise, a climbable active volcano standing 2,632m (8,635 ft.).
The Bassin des Aigrettes is just a 20-minute drive from the hotel, a water point on the island fed by waterfalls, and Maïdo, a mountainous summit, is 40 kilometres from the hotel.
