BY PLANE

  • Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport (SSH) is located 12km / 7.5 mi from the Sharm El-Sheikh Na'ama Bay, and a 12 minutes' drive to the hotel.

    It is the third-largest airport in Egypt and it receives year-round and seasonal flights from a number of cities across Europe, including the UK.

ADMINISTRATIVE FORMALITIES

  • All foreign visitors to Egypt, whether they need a visa or not, must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival.

    Visitors from many countries, including the UK, all of the European Union, the US and Canada may apply for an e-Visa online in advance, apply here. Alternatively, it is possible to obtain a visa either at your local Egyptian consulate, or upon arrival in Egypt (however this may require spending time in a queue on arrival!).

    Visas allow a stay of up to 30 days per entry, and may be approved as either a single or multiple entry authorization depending on the needs of the applicant.

  • Covid-19 health & travel rules for Egypt:
    • Visit the official Egypt Tourism Authority website to see the current regulalations for tourism to Egypt.
    • Note: all visitors must present a valid vaccination certificate (dating at least 14 days before travel), or a negative PCR/Antigen test (taken within 72 hours) – children ages 0-12 are exempt.
    • Be sure also to check your local government's travel advice for Egypt and your return.
