The Maisons du Monde Hôtel & Suites - La Rochelle Vieux Port is located on the west coast of France, in the port city of La Rochelle.
BY PLANE
La Rochelle–Île de Ré Airport sits on the outskirts of La Rochelle, and is around 5 km / 3 mi (13 minutes') drive from the hotel. The airport receives some year-round regular flights from elsewhere in France, such as Paris and Lyon, other seasonal flights from a handful of other European destinations, in particular the UK and Ireland.
Alternatively, Nantes Atlantique Airport further to the north near Nantes, is around 139 km / 86 mi (1 hour and 47 minutes') drive from the hotel. It receives a number of national and international flights from around Europe.
FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL
The cheapest and fastest way to get to La Rochelle is bus, line 7 (Monday-Saturday) and line 47 (on Sundays), running from the airport to the city centre, taking around 15 minutes.
From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, Sundays and French bank holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
