Istanbul currently has two airports, one on the European (western) side of the city and one on the Asian (eastern) side of the city. Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) is the main international airport of Istanbul, located around 24 km / 15 mi west of the city centre. This airport receives more regular direct flights from many capitals and major cities across Europe. Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW), is located around 35 km / 22 mi southeast of the city centre. It also receives a number of flights from cities across Europe, as well as many flights from outside of Europe.
It is possible to book a transfer service for an extra charge, in advance with the hotel, from either of Istanbuls Airports to the hotel.
