When it comes to summer holidays, my husband and I are no strangers to luxury. From opulent Paris pied-à- terre to tropical island complexes, we have had our share of fabulous experiences. Accustomed to high quality, then, we now add privacy and exclusivity to our list of essentials, a feat that is not always pulled off by 5-star establishments in popular destinations. Enter the Melati Beach Resort and Spa, a fabulous five-star resort that makes the most of the still-undiscovered Koh Samui island to offer unparalleled intimacy. It’s not often that a holiday is able to tick ALL of my boxes, but as far just maybe I have found a new yard stick to which all can be referred!
